So it occurred to me today that taking my phone out on our office Christmas party this Friday might not be such a good idea.  I've already seen a series of tweets containing sightly out of focus Christmas party snaps which rammed the point home, what seems like a good idea at the time when you're charging your way through a bottle of house red will almost certainly not be so brilliant when the rest of us not attending your party find our news streams bursting with these festive delights.  I'm also picturing myself realising this two days later when the hangover has at last become bearable, and the sheer horror wondering how many people have seen my posts and what they must think of me now.
I hope you're not thinking I work with a team of debauched party animals because I don't believe that to be the case, of course, this is my first year here so keep an eye on my twitter feed just in case I'm wrong and cannot resist the odd team photo... or even a selfie!
